The National Spending Authority has confirmed that it plans to start the first phase of the peace electric train project , the administrative capital, the 10th of Ramadan within days
This phase includes 12 stations.
The remaining work on stations and signal systems is currently continuing until start-up
The French company RATB will be responsible for its management and operation for 15 years without interfering in determining the price of the ticket, the French company will receive an agreed financial return in exchange for management and maintenance in monthly payments
The electric train project achieves connectivity and passenger exchange service with the third line of the subway (Adly Mansour – Cairo University), and will connect with Monorail, the administrative capital of the capital administrative station
It will be connected with the electric express train (Al-Alamein- Al Ain Sokhna) which is being implemented at the capital’s administrative station
