To take over the management and supervision of the implementation of the 160,000-meter Badia International University project in Badia, west of Cairo, as part of Palm Hills Reconstruction’s keenness to establish the university in accordance with the latest technological systems, and to adhere to the timetable for the completion of implementation work within 3 years.
The partnership contracts were signed by Mohamed Al Rashidi, Managing Director of Education Management Services, Dr. Bir Lubash, CEO of Julius Berger International (JBI), and Engineer Ahmed Atallah, Senior Executive Vice President of Development, Palm Hills Reconstruction Company.
Palm Hills Construction and Education plans to invest EGP 2.1 billion for construction and executive work at Badia International University, which is scheduled to be completed in three stages, the Padilla International University campus includes 8 scientific and theoretical colleges in the fields of medicine, science, technology, engineering, fine arts and business administration to accommodate more than 9,000 students, and is planned to offer accredited certificates from major European universities ranked among the best universities in the world, and to start studying in the faculty of medicine starting from the faculty of medicine starting from School year 2023/2024.

To that end, Palm Hills Construction has chosen to assign management and implementation supervision to the Padilla International University project to Julius Berger International (JBI), with up to 120 years of experience in establishing outstanding projects, to ensure that the University is implemented to the highest international standards.
Badia is one of the largest projects of Palm Hills Construction Company in western Cairo, in partnership with the Urban Communities Authority. And the first sustainable city in Egypt.
It is also the first smart city in the heart of new October, with 3,000 acres, with a total of 50,000 housing units. Badia is strategically located west and east of Cairo.
Badia includes all kinds of facilities including: educational, recreational, health, retail activities, sports club, on 80 acres, to be the largest in the western Cairo region, in addition to 6 local and international schools equipped at the highest level, international malls, administrative offices, Club House, cinemas, spa and international hotels, and there are vast green spaces and many industrial lakes.
